RSS to host key meet in Rajasthan to discuss situation after Udaipur killing
The RSS will host a key meeting in Rajasthan on Thursday to talk about the situation in the state in the aftermath of the gruesome murder of a Hindu tailor, Kanhaiya Lal.
Kanhaiya Lal (L) was a Hindu tailor was beheaded in Udaipur on June 28 by two assailants — Riyaz Attari and Ghouse Mohammad.
A three-day meet has been organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, to discuss the volatile situation in the wake of a Hindu man’s beheading in the state.
Kanhaiya Lal was a Hindu tailor who was beheaded in Udaipur on June 28 by two assailants — Riyaz Attari and Ghouse Mohammad — due to a Facebook post that he had put up in support of Nupur Sharma.

The Muslim Rashtriya Manch — affiliated with RSS — will pay tribute to Kanhaiya Lal on the instructions of RSS leader Indresh Kumar.
FOCUS ON RAJASTHAN AHEAD OF POLLS
The RSS has shifted its focus after the gruesome murder of Kanhaiya Lal. The three-day RSS meet from Thursday will see the organisation’s Prant Pracharaks discuss the situation that has risen now.
Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale and pracharaks of all the 45 zones of RSS will participate in the meeting. Bharatiya Janata Party general secretaries BL Santosh and Shivprakash and VHP leaders will also participate in this meeting.

The meeting assumes more significance as Rajasthan goes to polls next year. However, RSS leaders said this is a routine meeting that takes place every year.
The Muslim Rashtriya Manch, under the direction of RSS leader Indresh Kumar, will organise tribute meetings for Kanhaiyalal at various places. It is in touch with various Muslim organisations to maintain harmony in the country. The MRM is also campaigning against radicalism.
